June saw the hype around Cannes Festival go through the roof. I was more aware (actively) of the event this year than any other year. The quote of the month comes from Nicolas Bidon, global ceo of plista who sat at the panel of The Programmatic 401: Creative Convergence event. This was an interesting discussion on how data, technology and creative need to work together to enhance consumer experiences and create new opportunities for marketers. With that, Bidon argued that beyond data and technology there is a human touch that’s required to creatively tell a compelling story. In other words what use is all this data and technology if its not directly influencing the creative?
